The University of Thessaly Library & Information Centre participates as a founding member in the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-LINK).

HEAL-Link is an outcome of the EPEAEK I developmental project "Development of a Hellenic Academic Libraries Network". Nowadays is being funded by the project "Development of Helenic Academic Libraries Digital Cooperation" (Horizontal Action for Libraries, 3rd Community Support Framework, 2000-2006 - EPEAEK II).

The Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link), is a consortium, members of which are all public Universities and Technological Educational Institutions of Greece. It was established according to article 17 of law 3404/2005 (see Documents File/General Documents). Furthermore, an "official agreement for the establishment of the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link" was signed by Rectors of all public Universities and Presidents of all public Technological Educational Institutions (see Documents File/General Documents).

		Home page of the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-LINK). The web site provides information and hypelinks to services and actions operating within the umbrella of HEAL-LINK; for example electronic sources, copyright issues, services for disable members of the Greek academic community, portals to OPACs, Union Catalogue of academic libraries, total quality management unit, etc.

	ACADELIB
		The University of Thessaly Library & Information Centre has developed -within the HEAL-Link framework- an electronic mailing list, named "ACADELIB".
