The University of Thessaly Library & Information Centre has developed -within the HEAL-Link framework- an electronic mailing list. The ACADELIB mailing list is active since 1998. ACADELIB aims at providing librarians a common space, where opinions, reflections and professional information can be exchanged and disseminated.
Participation in the mailing list is free, and is not limited to the Greek academic libraries environment only.
Mailing list members have to respect the academic profile of the list avoiding:
- spamming and forwarding messages of commercial character
- dissemination of pornographic material
- publishing insulting or discriminative material
- using the list as a chat room (inter-personal discussion development)
The library erases ipso jure the members that do not abide by the list's rules of use.
For any technical problem, please contact Mr. Theodoros Selitsaniotis either
via e-mail: theosel@lib.uth.gr or the telephone: 24210 06325
