The Library & Information Centre provides access to bibliographic and full-text databases. Bibliographic databases enable search and retrieval of citations and abstracts only, while full-text databases enable access to the full-text of serials' articles.

Below follows an alhabetic list of the eContent Providers, whose services are retained either directly from the University of Thessaly Library or via its participation in the HEAL-LINK Consortium. Some free-access databases are also included in the following list.

Full-text database: Academic Search Complete is the world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 7,000 full-text periodicals, including nearly 6,000 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 11,000 journals and a total of more than 11,600 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Bibliographic database: GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records. |
